The biggest sporting event of the year made its Vegas debut at Super Bowl LVIII, across the street from MGM Resorts’ 12 Las Vegas Strip brands. Marketing an event without an official partnership is no easy task. Our social team did it better than anyone else.
To set the stage, we crafted 5 CGI videos showcasing football’s arrival in Las Vegas. Through promotional postings, MGM invited guests to a flurry of football-themed activations across its resorts. When Big Game week arrived, we gave the world an insider’s view at football in Las Vegas with 24-7 coverage. Our social support for Super Bowl LVIII resulted in 24.1M impressions, 119K engagements and a 25% share of social voice, highest amongst our competitive set, while our CGI videos were featured on local news broadcasts.
